Gideon Sutherland

Upper School Logic & Philosophy Teacher

My name is Gideon Sutherland. I have lived all over the nation but primarily grew up in Houston, Texas. I moved to the Springfield area for university where I received my BA in Biblical Studies and Philosophy. I love to read, play/watch soccer, I am an avid coffee guy, and am always willing to strike up a theological/philosophical conversation. I am currently enrolled in my Master of Religious Studies at Missouri State University, and plan on pursuing a PhD in either Theology or Philosophy. I am very excited to get the opportunity to teach this semester and greatly desire to instill a sense of wonder, curiosity, and imagination in students concerning the deeper questions of life and the glory of the truth that God has made accessible to our minds.
