Chariti Mattix

5th Grade Teacher

Chariti holds an Associates Degree in Bible, a Bachelors Degree in Intercultural Studies, and a Masters Degree in Philosophy. She grew up as a missionary kid in Paraguay and has been involved in children's ministry for most of her life. She has homeschooled her own children using the classical method for the past four years, and been involved in a Classical Conversations community for the past three years. She was a Classical Conversations tutor and Children's Pastor during that time. Chariti has three young children and she enjoys spending time with them at the zoo or simply playing board games at home. In her free time, Chariti enjoys reading philosophy (specifically ethics, apologetics, and philosophy of mind), watching classic musicals (her favorite is The Music Man), and spending quality time with family and friends.
