Curtis Taussig
Upper Grade STEM Teacher.
Curtis earned his BS in Biochemistry from the University of Arkansas and is currently applying to medical school with hopes to matriculate in the fall of ‘26. Since graduation, Curtis has spent 8 months volunteering overseas with a humanitarian aid NGO called the ‘Free Burma Rangers’ (FBR). The mission of FBR is to shine the light of Christ and provide medical and educational resources in conflict zones. FBR currently operates in Burma, Syria, Iraq, Tajikistan, and South Sudan. Curtis believes the Great Commission is integral to all aspects of life and seeks to be obedient to it in this exciting season of pursuing truth, goodness, and beauty. Curtis is new to teaching, but he has 12 years of Classical Conversations experience to draw upon as he steps into this next role. Curtis enjoys ballroom dancing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and coffee brewing. You can find him perfecting the last one at Kingdom Coffee on Lone Pine.
