Lacey Stoddard

Culture and Events Coordinator, Assistant Dean and Latin Teacher.

Lacey holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and has several years experience in Classical, Chrisitan education. Lacey is married to her husband Samuel and they have one daughter, Eleanor. She believes classical, Christian education is a beautiful, restful, and meaningful endeavor for children and their parents alike. Teaching children how to learn, not just what to learn is a pursuit that will serve them not only in their early years, but all throughout life. As someone who grew up with a traditional public education, the classical model gives Lacey the opportunity to redeem her own education while also instilling a better foundation for her children as well as the children she teaches. As a teacher, Lacey seeks to integrate Truth, goodness, and beauty in every subject; God created all things, is evident and in all things, and deserves the glory in all things. One of her favorite roles as a Christian educator is helping students to see and honor this in all they learn. Lacey is excited to be at HHCA this year, in partnership with parents, as we seek to honor and glorify God through education
