Sable Foster

3/4th Grade Teacher.

Sable is excited and honored to join the HHCA community as the combined 3rd & 4th grade teacher. Over the past seven years, she has taken on various teaching and leadership roles in classical Christian education. Influenced by her grandfather, now 94, who begins each day with the prayer, "Lord, I am available. Use me," Sable strives to live with an open, obedient heart.

Her journey into Christian classical education began when she encountered a family at her church while her oldest child was an infant. Inspired by the fruits she observed in their family, Sable and her husband researched and soon embraced this educational model for their own family.

Married for 13 years and a mother to five children—who will all be attending HHCA—Sable brings a deep passion for Christ-centered education. As a dedicated volunteer at her church, she works to make disciples of Christ within her home and community. Her experiences in church leadership, along with her roles as a mom and educator, have equipped her with valuable skills in collaboration, classroom management, and addressing the unique needs of children.

Born and raised in Alaska, Sable pines for mountains and enjoys nature naps outside. Her hobbies include learning to sew, playing board games at home, and hiking in the beauty of God’s creation. Sable looks forward to building relationships within the HHCA community and nurturing the growth of its children.
